AT&T Seeks $2 Million From Verizon - Petition With The Public Service Commission Of Delaware - Brief Article


AT&T [T] on Monday filed a petition with the Public Service Commission of Delaware alleging that it is owed more than $2 million by Verizon Communications [VZ] for unpaid interconnection fees.

AT&T said Verizon has failed in Delaware to adhere to the Telecommunications Act of 1996, which requires a phone company to pay a fee for using a competitor's network to complete a local call.

Verizon said it has yet to see AT&T's petition and could not comment on its substance. >TK Ericsson [ERICY]:
